The ESGCT hosts a co-opted student member on its Board, with special responsibilities for young investigators. The creation of the position of Co-opted member for young investigators is intended to advise and support the ESGCT in building its student and early post-doc community through memberships, social media and training opportunities. The position of student member is an ex-officio role whereby they will be invited to participate in Board meetings, have influence, but would not be able to vote.
