The ESGCT is pleased to launch an e-School and a series of e-Seminars to connect and stay in touch with our membership, as so many events have been postponed or cancelled as a result of the COVID19 crisis.
The first ESGCT e-School
is on Wednesday 6 May 2020, kicking off with an introductory talk from ESGCT President, Hildegard Büning. The topic for the first series of talks is 'Viral and non-viral vectors for gene therapy and gene editing', starting on 13 May 2020. The talks will take place live every Wednesday afternoon at 14:00 CEST (13:00 in the UK) for 22 weeks.
The e-School has been created in lieu of our annual Spring School, which we unfortunately had to cancel. We will announce in advance the schedule for the different talks, and the traditional Spring School is now scheduled to take place in March 2021 in Athens.
The ESGCT first e-Seminars
series was focused, very topically, on updates on SARS CoV2,
3 of the talks are available to view on our website. We are hoping to start a second series soon on the latest news in Gene and Cell Therapy.
You can view the e-School and e-Seminars live on the ESGCT YouTube
page. Where possible, talks will remain available to watch on YouTube afterwards, but please note that some talks may only be available for live viewing. For both series, you are more than welcome to send questions in advance to email@example.com
, but you will also be able to participate by asking questions to the speakers live.
