A young research fellow position is available in the team of Dr. Valentina Poletti, PhD to work on a project of gene therapy for hemoglobinopathies. We are looking for a highly motivated person with a degree in biology, biotechnology or similar. The ideal candidate has basic experience in molecular and cellular biology, including PCR, cell culture and general biomedical laboratory procedures. The successful candidate will work in a stimulating research environment, and will be part of an enthusiastic team of researchers strongly committed to translational medicine.

Responsibilities for this position:

- molecular biology assays (PCR, ddPCR, WB, etc)

- human cell culture and manipulation (nucleofection, etc)

Your qualifications:

- Master, PhD or equivalent with lab wet experience

- High accuracy, reliability, precision

- Ability to manage multiple tasks

- Collaborative

- Basic/good oral and written English skills
