Postdoctoral position to work on lung-directed gene therapy project at University of Minnesota

Postdoctoral position is immediately available to work on lung-directed gene therapy project at University of Minnesota. Applicants should have a PhD, MD, DMV or equivalent with a specialization in any of following areas: airway epithelial cell biology, gene therapy, adeno-associated virus vectors. MS with strong relevant experience will be considered. The specific techniques include but not limited to primary cell culture, immunostaining, multicolor flow cytometry, viral vectors production. A successful candidate should have strong analytical, communication and writing skills to perform data collection and analyses, draft publications and present at professional meetings. The lab is funded by NIH, FDA, Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics Awards, and works on several pre-clinical projects using large animal models.
